Patient Satisfaction is very important to UF Health Flagler Hospital. We strive to make your experience with us the best it can possibly be. To help accommodate our patients during their stay, we offer a variety of specialized services. Below you will find a few of those services listed. The UF Health Flagler Hospital Chapel is available for patients and family members as a non-denominational place for reflection. The Chapel is located off the second floor walkway between the Diagnostic Building and the Patient Tower.
The Social Services / Discharge Planning Department is available to assist patients and their families in need of resource information regarding discharge options and to assist in the arrangement of appropriate discharge planning under the direction of the physician. If you wish to speak to a social worker, request a referral from your physician. The Social Services Department is located on the 4th floor of the patient tower across from the main nurses station.
Interpreters are available for most languages, including sign language for the hearing impaired. You can request an interpreter by asking your Nursing Unit Director or by asking your nurse to contact the Nursing Supervisor. Interpreter services are provided at no cost to our patients, family members or guests. Click here for more information.
The UF Health Flagler Hospital Gift Shop is located on the first floor of the Patient Tower. It is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Operated by the UF Health Flagler Hospital Auxiliary, the Gift Shop offers a variety of toys, plants, flowers and jewelry items, as well as cards and sundries. Our registered dieticians are here to assist you with your nutritional care and any related problems. All dieticians are masters level educated and have additional credentials. Individual diet consults can be arranged with a physician order or set up on a personal basis. They will provide nutritional counseling on your prescribed diet. If you have any specific questions or concerns, please contact Nutrition Services at 819-4415.
